2012 UCF Senior Design Symposium: Multi-touch Table 1
I took my daughter to the 2012 UCF Senior Design Symposium. Before graduating, the graduating seniors in the College of Engineering and Computer Science have to solve a real-world engineering problem; I always take the day off to see what they’ve been up to. This team built a multi-touch table, like the Microsoft Surface. Only cheaper. It uses a ring of infrared LEDs around the screen to inject the light that gets refracted whenever anything touches the surface, which is then detected by a camera underneath. Here they show off a bunch of debugging information. More pictures of the event on my website: judebert.com

See what all went into UCF Conservatory Theatre’s production of “West Side Story.” (2009)
This documentary is so well put together. Amazing work!
